THE KEAAU CLINIC

Description
The Hawaii Naturopathic Retreat Center is an eight bedroom, four bathroom family house situated on 1 acre of land. It is located in a residential area on the Big Island of Hawaii, nested in a lush garden featuring tropical flowers, fruit trees, and coconut palms. The climate is tropical, with temperatures in the upper 70's to 80's year round. The center offers both convenient access to city amenities and the wilderness.
We have 6 private rooms with shared baths. Two rooms are equipped with a queen size bed and 5 rooms with a double bed. All rooms have a desk and their decoration is personalized with garden views. The living room features educational material such as videos and books, as well as recreational games. This is the site of improvised gathering or group meetings for lectures, meditation, or psychotherapy sessions. Meals are taken together in the dining room and the kitchen is opened for demonstrations and cooking classes.
Porches, or "lanai," surround the house. The back lanai is designed for relaxation and exercise. We have a far infrared sauna, a trampoline, weights, and a few more devices in our exercise area near the FIR sauna. The front lanai has a sunning area and more space for relaxation.
Location
Hawai'i Naturopathic Retreat Center is located on the Big Island of Hawaii.
- We are 10 minutes from Hilo, which features an airport, a hospital, beaches, shopping facilities and a farmers' market.
- We are 20 minutes to the Volcano National Park with breathtaking views of flowing lava, smoking cinder cones and hiking trails.
- We are 30 minutes to the Kapoho area, which features natural wonders such as warm ponds, tropical fishes and coral, and tidal pools.
We organize tours to these areas upon request.
We have an airport pick up service for $35. Make sure to send us your arrival time and airline company. When you arrive we will pick you up at the curb after you collect your luggage. Look for our van at the curb across from the baggage claim. Taxi from the airport takes 10 minutes and is appr. $30-35.

Directions
From Hilo airport (ITO) turn left onto Kanoelehua Avenue which becomes Highway 11 (Hawaii Belt Road) as you head toward Volcano. Appr. 8 miles out of town, past Keaau, you'll turn left on Meaulu Street, then immediately turn right on IPUAIWAHA STREET, and drive until you reach number 17-502.
